About the role
As a Production Engineer in Purulia, you will play a crucial role in overseeing production operations and ensuring the efficiency of manufacturing processes. What you'll do
- Provide technical and application support across production processes.
- Analyze and resolve production challenges to maintain smooth workflow.
- Participate in production planning, control, and management activities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 25001 auditing and documentation standards.
- Review and interpret manufacturing drawings, tolerances, and fits.
- Support in implementing quality and safety standards throughout production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Maintain detailed documentation and reports related to production operations.
What you'll need
- Education: B.E. Mechanical (Engineering Design knowledge required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Engineering Design knowledge required).
- 2–3 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or engineering support roles.
- Proficiency in Production Support, Technical Support, and Troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the Valve or Instrumentation industry is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO auditing and documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Languages: Local Language of West Bengal and Hindi (Required), English (Preferred).
